Dr. Jayapal has been part of the top 2 premier institutes of our country (PGIMER, Chandigarh and AIIMS, New Delhi) which perform complex gastrointestinal, hepato pancreatico biliary (HPB) procedures and liver transplantation. He has vast experience in core gastrointestinal and complex HPB operations for liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, biliary cancer, biliary strictures, stomach cancer, esophageal cancer, colorectal cancer and corrosive esophageal strictures. He has been part of the liver transplantation team at AIIMS, New Delhi. His special interests are advanced laparoscopy for diseases of liver, pancreas and biliary tree and liver transplantation.
